About Us
A Lifetime of Experience with Animals
I have cared for pets all my life. Dogs, rats, iguanas, hamsters, cats, and even horses (sorry, I don't trim horses). As well as researching countless other species while in search of the perfect pets for me. My husband and I currently have Sinclair the Green Iguana along with four dogs, Luca the American Staffordshire Terrier, Rubles the Siberian Husky, Sonar the St. Bernard/Husky mix, and Yona the Plott Hound/Mastiff mix.
Nervous, Timid, and Protective Pets
I have the patience to work with nervous and timid animals, as well as the confidence to handle big dogs who are protective of their homes. I keep a light schedule so I can take the time to read their body language and will always work at the pace set by the pet. I prefer not to use muzzles, but do have them on-hand if I feel a dog needs a reminder to stay honest. The goal is to end every session with a happy pet.
Routine Maintenance
When our pets' toenails get too long, it's not just annoying to hear them clicking on the floor, it's painful and dangerous- for them and for us! Book a trim every month to keep your family members comfortable and safe from broken or ripped claws and spare your furniture and your own skin from gouges and scratches. (Timing for individual pets depends on many factors, including environment and activity level/type) I use pliers-style clippers, followed by either a hand-file or rotary tool to smooth any ragged edges.

I believe all pets of every type are just as special as family members and all deserve to be treated with love and care. I handle all animals with the utmost respect, being mindful of safety for all involved throughout the process.
